Principal's Message
Dear Godwin Heights High School Families,
It is a great honor and privilege to serve Godwin Heights Learning Center as the Principal. Every year in this position, my respect for our staff and students grows. They show up every day and work tirelessly to ensure success for all students on our campus here at the Learning Center.
It is with great confidence I can say that, as a staff, we will continue our intense focus on improving instruction, increasing student achievement and strive to involve our community to create a legacy of success at Godwin Heights. This year at the Learning Center, the staff will start working with local businesses to develop student internships to placed within the community for on the job training.
This school year the Learning Center will continue to use Odysseyware, an online virtual program to support students’ education. Students have the ability to login and work from home, the library, or at school. Please encourage your students to continue their learning at home, in an effort to help them continue to succeed in their education.
At the Learning Center is our goal to contact parents at least twice a week to have a conversation with parents on the progress, attendance, and classroom behavior of their student. This communication is vital to the success of students and allows parents, students, and teachers to be on the same page and find the best strategies to support all students.
It is my honor and privilege to have the opportunity to be the Principal at Godwin Heights Learning Center. I am very thankful for the opportunity to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff within the Godwin Heights community. As Principal, I truly enjoy the opportunity to work with you as a partner in education to ensure your student's success.

Es un gran honor y privilegio servir al Centro de Aprendizaje Godwin Heights (Godwin Learning Center). Cada año en este puesto, mi respeto por nuestro personal y estudiantes crece. Se presentan todos los días y trabajan incansablemente para garantizar el éxito de todos los estudiantes en nuestro campus dentro del Centro de Aprendizaje.
Es con gran confianza que puedo decir que, como personal, continuaremos nuestro intenso enfoque en mejorar la instrucción, aumentar el rendimiento estudiantil y esforzarnos por involucrar a nuestra comunidad para crear un legado de éxito en Godwin Heights. Este año en el Centro de Aprendizaje, el personal continuará enfocándose en mejorar la asistencia.
Este año escolar el Centro de Aprendizaje seguirá utilizando Odysseyware, un programa virtual en línea para apoyar la educación de los estudiantes. Los estudiantes tienen la capacidad de iniciar sesión y trabajar desde casa, la biblioteca o en la escuela. Por favor anime a sus estudiantes a continuar aprendiendo en casa, en un esfuerzo por ayudarlos a continuar con éxito en su educación.
En el Centro de Aprendizaje, nuestra meta es contactar a los padres por lo menos dos veces a la semana para mantener una conversación con los padres sobre el progreso, la asistencia y el comportamiento en el aula de sus alumnos. Esta comunicación es vital para el éxito de los estudiantes, y les permite a los padres, estudiantes y maestros estar en la misma página y encontrar las mejores estrategias para apoyar a todos los estudiantes.
Es para mí un honor y un privilegio tener la oportunidad de ser el Director en el Centro de Aprendizaje Godwin Heights. Estoy muy agradecido por la oportunidad de construir relaciones positivas con los estudiantes, padres y personal dentro de la comunidad de Godwin Heights. Como director, realmente disfruto la oportunidad de trabajar con usted como socio en educación para asegurar el éxito de su estudiante.
