Principal's Message

Dear Godwin Heights Learning Center Community,

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! I am honored to serve as your principal and excited to continue building a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where every student feels valued and challenged.

This year, our focus is on Reaching Every Student—meeting each learner where they are, celebrating their strengths, and providing the support and opportunities they need to grow. Every student deserves to feel seen, heard, and prepared for success in school and beyond.

Our blended learning model gives students the best of both worlds—flexibility with online learning and the connection of in-person support. Students will complete coursework online at home and attend the Learning Center each day from 9:30 AM–12:00 PM for targeted instruction, collaboration, and community.

We also know that strong schools are built on strong partnerships. Families, students, and staff working together is the key to our success. I encourage you to stay connected, share your ideas, and reach out whenever support is needed—because when we work together, we can ensure every student thrives.

¡Bienvenidos al año escolar 2025–2026! Es un honor para mí servir como su director y me entusiasma continuar construyendo un ambiente seguro, solidario y motivador donde cada estudiante se sienta valorado y desafiado.

Este año, nuestro enfoque es Llegar a Cada Estudiante: encontrarnos con cada alumno donde esté, celebrar sus fortalezas y brindarles el apoyo y las oportunidades que necesitan para crecer. Cada estudiante merece sentirse visto, escuchado y preparado para el éxito en la escuela y más allá.

Nuestro modelo de aprendizaje combinado ofrece a los estudiantes lo mejor de ambos mundos: la flexibilidad del aprendizaje en línea y la conexión del apoyo presencial. Los estudiantes completarán su trabajo en línea desde casa y asistirán al Learning Center todos los días de 9:30 AM a 12:00 PM para recibir instrucción dirigida, colaborar y fortalecer la comunidad.

También sabemos que las escuelas sólidas se construyen con alianzas sólidas. Familias, estudiantes y personal trabajando juntos son la clave de nuestro éxito. Les animo a mantenerse conectados, compartir sus ideas y comunicarse siempre que necesiten apoyo, porque cuando trabajamos juntos podemos asegurar que cada estudiante prospere.
